Salzer Electronics received the patent for this invention from the Patent Office, Government of India, for duration of 20 years, ending 2031.
Cam Operated Rotary Switches are used in making, breaking as well as isolation of power circuits and switching auxiliary circuits. These cam operated rotary switches are known for their high flexibility, easy handling, solid rigidity and reliability.

Salzer Electronics is engaged for manufacture of electrical installation products and components viz., CAM operated rotary switches, selector switches, wiring ducts, voltmeter switches, copper wires and cables and allied products addressing customers in the electrical equipment, power, medical equipment, automotive as well as renewable and uninterrupted power system spaces, in a single and unified segment.
On consolidated basis, the company reported 28.8% surge in the net profit to Rs 8.36 crore on a 23.3% rise in net sales to Rs 218.82 crore in Q3 FY22 over Q3 FY21.
