Coal India Ltd rose 2.05% today to trade at Rs 186.65. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 1.1% to quote at 22836.35. The index is up 16.91 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Hindustan Zinc Ltd increased 1.95% and Hindalco Industries Ltd added 1.61% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 69.47 % over last one year compared to the 16.73% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Coal India Ltd has added 16.73% over last one month compared to 16.91% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 0.19% rise in the SENSEX.
