The company's total domestic sales declined 32% year on year to 1,12,747 units while total exports fell 3% year-on-year to 2,03,273 units in February 2022.
Bajaj Auto's total two-wheeler sales fell 16% to 2,79,337 units while total commercial vehicles sales declined 14% to 36,683 units in February 2022 over February 2021.
Bajaj Auto is ranked as the world's fourth largest three and two-wheeler manufacturer and the Bajaj brand is well-known across several countries in Latin America, Africa, Middle East, South and South East Asia.
On a consolidated basis, the auto maker's net profit declined 16.70% to Rs 1429.68 crore on 0.86% rise in net sales to Rs 8805.50 crore in Q3 FY22 over Q3 FY21.
Shares of Bajaj Auto were trading 4.27% lower at Rs 3,380 on BSE.
