Reliance Industries Ltd rose 8.29% today to trade at Rs 1021.25. The S&P BSE Energy index is up 5.85% to quote at 3344.19. The index is down 30.54 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Castrol India Ltd increased 4.27% and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd added 3.28% on the day. The S&P BSE Energy index went down 31.89 % over last one year compared to the 29.14% fall in benchmark SENSEX.

Reliance Industries Ltd has lost 29.32% over last one month compared to 30.54% fall in S&P BSE Energy index and 32.88% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1162.07 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 12.69 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 1617.8 on 20 Dec 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 875.7 on 23 Mar 2020.
