Among the other constituents of the index, GTL Infrastructure Ltd increased 2.5% and Bharti Infratel Ltd added 1.91% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went up 28.11 % over last one year compared to the 11.43% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
