Vodafone Idea Ltd rose 9.84% today to trade at Rs 4.91. The S&P BSE Telecom index is up 3.61% to quote at 1033.66. The index is up 3.48 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Tejas Networks Ltd increased 5.96% and Bharti Airtel Ltd added 3.58% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 1.29 % over last one year compared to the 12.82% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Vodafone Idea Ltd has lost 23.16% over last one month compared to 3.48% gain in S&P BSE Telecom index and 2.7% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 45.32 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 446.54 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 27.51 on 21 Nov 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 2.61 on 15 Nov 2019.
