Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd spiked 27.72% to Rs 56.9 at 11:47 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 86.89 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 17.42 lakh shares in the past one month.

Reliance Power Ltd surged 19.59% to Rs 2.32. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 45.28 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 55.79 lakh shares in the past one month.
