Vodafone Idea Ltd lost 5.36% today to trade at Rs 5.83. The S&P BSE Telecom index is down 1.6% to quote at 952.89. The index is up 4.54 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, GTL Infrastructure Ltd decreased 3.51% and Bharti Infratel Ltd lost 1.65% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 5.51 % over last one year compared to the 6.48% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Vodafone Idea Ltd has added 8.57% over last one month compared to 4.54% gain in S&P BSE Telecom index and 4.18% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 24.61 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 155.26 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 27.51 on 21 Nov 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 4.83 on 29 Aug 2019.
