Reliance Communications Ltd gained 5% today to trade at Rs 1.26. The S&P BSE Telecom index is up 0.98% to quote at 1001.54. The index is down 0.92 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Optiemus Infracom Ltd increased 4.38% and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd added 2.72% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 13.74 % over last one year compared to the 12.68% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Reliance Communications Ltd has lost 38.83% over last one month compared to 0.92% fall in S&P BSE Telecom index and 0.17% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1.11 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 66.5 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 21.65 on 14 Aug 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 1.1 on 26 Jun 2019.
