Among the other constituents of the index, Bharti Infratel Ltd decreased 3.36% and Vodafone Idea Ltd lost 1.74% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 23.56 % over last one year compared to the 13.39% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

On the BSE, 24.98 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 114.96 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 21.65 on 14 Aug 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 1.81 on 25 Apr 2019.
