Reliance Communications Ltd surged 12.46% to Rs 17.15 at 11:53 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 106.09 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 75.84 lakh shares in the past one month.

Videocon Industries Ltd soared 9.97% to Rs 11.36. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 4.72 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.13 lakh shares in the past one month.

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd spiked 5.44% to Rs 1276.25. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 2.2 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 70422 shares in the past one month.

Welspun India Ltd exploded 5.34% to Rs 60.15. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 3.03 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.58 lakh shares in the past one month.

Cyient Ltd spurt 4.53% to Rs 797.7. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 43047 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 46584 shares in the past one month.
