Jaiprakash Associates commences commercial operation of Unit I of Bara Super Critical Thermal Power Project
On 28 February 2016
Jaiprakash Associates announced that Unit-1 of 660 MW of (3 x 660 MW = 1980 MW) of Bara Super Critical Thermal Power Project, being implemented by Prayagraj Power Generation Company (a subsidiary of Jaiprakash Power Ventures which is also a subsidiary of the Company) has successfully commenced commercial operations on 28 February 2016.
