The Company allotted 2,827,679 equity shares to Ascent for consideration other than cash at a price of Rs 669.10 per equity share, consequent to receipt from FIPB for issue of shares to Unit Trust of India Investment Advisory Services A/C Ascent India Fund III.

Consequent to such allotment, the paid up equity share capital of the Company has increased from Rs 448,195,600 to Rs 476,472,390 consisting of 47,647,239 equity shares of Rs 10 each.

The Company has acquired 7,883,776 equity shares of Alivira from Ascent towards consideration for allotment of 2,827,679 equity shares.

Pursuant to such acquisition, Alivira Animal Health has become a wholly owned subsidairy of the Company.
