Cementrum I B.V. of Netherlands, the holding company of HCIL, has proposed the appointment of Cooper as Managing Director of the Company with effect from 01 July 2014, subject to the approval of Nomination & Remuneration Committee and the Board of Directors of HCIL.

Cooper will succeed Ashish Guha, who had vide letter dated 02 May 2014 resigned from the position of CEO & Managing Director but at the request of the Board of Directors of HCIL had acceded to continue in office till the appointment of a successor.
