The commercial production from the new units has commenced with effect from 18 February 2013. The expanded capacity will enable the company to increase its market share in Central India, where the company's brand ‘mycem' is already a premium brand and the expanded cement capacity of HeidelbergCement India will become 6 million tonnes per annum.
