BGR Energy Systems secures contract worth Rs 36.61 crore
From Power Grid Corporation of India
BGR Energy Systems has announced that its electrical projects division had secured a turnkey contract for Rs 36.61 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India for installing fibre optic cable based communication or OPWG backbone. The new OPWG communications solutions would replace the Unified Load Despatch Centre microwave links on its existing power transmission structures in Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry.
The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 07 March 2011.
