SKF inaugurates its SKF Solution Factory in Pune

|
SKF inaugurated its first ‘SKF solution factory' in India at Pune on 03 November 2009. The new facility was inaugurated by the SKF Group President and CEO; Tom Johnstone and SKF India managing director; Rakesh Makhija. The ultimate objective of the SKF solution factory is to make SKF offerings from its five technology platforms - bearings and units, seals, mechatronics, services and lubrication solutions - more available for customers and provide them with customized solutions by combining and integrating different products, systems and services.
The SKF Solution Factory will play an important role in giving customers access to SKF's full capabilities by combining it's expert knowledge from industries, technology platforms and overall working processes.
SKF Solution Factory Pune will start by offering bearing remanufacturing and spindle services. Later it will add customized product services, remote diagnostics, customized sealing solutions, lubrication oil station assembly, etc.
The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 05 November 2009.
