Timken's MD & chairman resigns

With effect from 01 August 2009

The board of Timken India has considered and approved the resignation of Gordon W Robinson as chairman and managing director of the company with effect from 01 August 2009.

The board has also appointed Ajay K Das as managing director of the company and Roger W Lindsay as non-executive chairman of the company with effect from 01 August 2009.

This was decided at the board meeting held on 24 July 2009.
