The extra ordinary general meeting of Walchandnagar Industries will be held on 04 March 2008 to create, offer, issue and allot equity shares / equity linked securities / securities convertible into equity to qualified institutional buyers, for an aggregate amount which shall not exceed Rs 550 crore.
To create, offer, issue and allot for cash consideration on preferential basis upto 5,25,000 warrants convertible into equity shares of the company within 18 months from the date of allotment at a price of Rs 6396 per warrant / share aggregating up to Rs 335.79 crore.
The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 13 February 2008.
