Board of Torrent Power approves scheme of arrangement
At meeting held on 10 August 2023
The Board of Torrent Power at its meeting held on 10 August 2023 has approved the scheme of arrangement between Torrent Power (TPL or the Company) and Torrent Green Energy (TGEL), wholly owned subsidiary of the Company and their respective shareholders and creditors to provide greater business attention and focus on the business of transmission and distribution of electricity and unlocking the value of Renewable power undertaking of TPL into TGEL on a going concern basis by way of a slump sale with the appointed date being the date provided under the Scheme.
