Wanbury's members at the extra ordinary general meeting (EGM) held on 17 October, 2006, have approved the scheme of merger of the Pharmaceutical Products of India with the company.

The board has been authorized to issue and allot equity shares and warrants of the company to the members of the Pharmaceutical Products of India (PPIL).

The board has also approved the scheme of merger of Doctors Organic Chemicals with the company and has also given consent to issue and allot equity shares of the company to the members of Doctors Organic Chemicals.
