For the quarter ended September 2017, Ador Welding registered a 20% rise in sales to Rs 121.67 crore. OPM fell 150 basis points to 8.3% which saw OP rise 2% to Rs 10.43 crore.
Other income jumped 38% to Rs 1.92 crore and interest cost grew from Rs 16 lakh to Rs 1.22 crore.
As depreciation was down 9% to Rs 2.57 crore PBT fell marginally from Rs 8.30 crore to Rs 8.26 crore.
Provision for tax fell 6% to Rs 2.77 crore after which PAT grew 3% to Rs 5.49 crore.
For the six months, Ador Welding registered a 17% rise in sales to Rs 208.80 crore. OPM fell 200 basis points to 5.0% which saw OP fall 16% to Rs 10.53 crore.
Other income jumped 57% to Rs 4.90 crore and interest cost grew from Rs 27 lakh to Rs 2.10 crore.
As depreciation was down 9% to Rs 5.47 crore PBT fell 16% to Rs 8.16 crore.
Provision for tax fell 15% to Rs 2.74 crore after which PAT fell 17% to Rs 5.42 crore.
Segment results
For the quarter, sales of from the Consumables Division stood at Rs 79.29 crore and accounted for 65% of total. PBIT from the same grew 7% to Rs 10.97 crore and accounted for 98% of total.
For the quarter, sales from the Equipment Division stood at Rs 42.38 crore and accounted for 35% of total. PBIT from the same fell 40% to Rs 26 lakh and accounted for 2% of total.
For the six months, sales of from the Consumables Division stood at Rs 134.75 crore and accounted for 62% of total. PBIT from the same fell 4% to Rs 15.15 crore and accounted for 111% of total.
For the six months, sales from the Equipment Division stood at Rs 81.02 crore and accounted for 38% of total. Loss at the PBIT level from the same grew 34% to Rs 1.53 crore and accounted for -11% of total.
