Net profit of Shanthi Gears declined 27.52% to Rs 4.24 crore in the quarter ended December 2012 as against Rs 5.85 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2011. Sales declined 4.12% to Rs 40.05 crore in the quarter ended December 2012 as against Rs 41.77 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2011.
