Net profit of Sharat Industries declined 19.57% to Rs 0.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 0.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007. Sales declined 85.71% to Rs 0.62 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 4.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007.

For the full year, net profit rose 4.97% to Rs 1.69 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 1.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2007. Sales rose 19.07% to Rs 24.41 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 20.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2007.
