Net profit of Alok Industries declined 31.70% to Rs 53.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 78.68 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007. Sales rose 26.25% to Rs 724.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 574.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007.

For the full year, net profit rose 20.50% to Rs 198.66 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 164.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2007. Sales rose 18.95% to Rs 2170.41 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 1824.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2007.
