Net profit of BSL declined 53.77% to Rs 0.92 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 1.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales rose 4.70% to Rs 41.62 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 39.75 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net loss reported at Rs 0.40 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against net profit of Rs 1.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 5.23% to Rs 181.34 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 172.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
