Net profit of Gufic BioSciences declined 43.48% to Rs 0.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 0.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales declined 18.01% to Rs 10.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 12.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit declined 44.40% to Rs 1.49 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 2.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales declined 9.76% to Rs 55.86 crore in the year ended March 2007as against Rs 61.90 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
