Net profit of Kothari Sugars & Chemicals declined 92.62% to Rs 0.92 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 12.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales declined 10.96% to Rs 59.28 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 66.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit declined 29.95% to Rs 17.45 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 24.91 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 6.18% to Rs 230.13 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 216.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
