Chemplast Sanmar has reported net loss for the quarter ended March 2007 amounted to Rs 1.38 crore as against net profit of Rs 7.64 crore in the previous quarter ended March 2006. There was a marginal rise of 0.95% in respect of sales during the quarter ended March 2007 amounted to Rs 149.63 crore as against Rs 148.22 crroe in the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit declined 51.87% to Rs 17.67 crore for the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 36.71 crore in the previous year ended March 2006. Net sales improved marginally by 4.33% amounted to Rs 612.63 crore for the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 587.19 crore in the previous year ended March 2006.
