Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Hindustan Aeronautics for the quarter ended Jun 2022 has increased 124.19% to Rs 3622.46 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 15% to 22.81%, leading to 240.81% rise in operating profit to Rs 826.29 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 35.76% to 31.76%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 1.98% to 1.74%. Employee cost decreased from 35.78% to 25.96%. Other expenses rose from 18.28% to 19.47%. Other direct service cost rose from 0.97% to 1.87%. Provisions writeoffs cost rose from 11.24% to 11.82%. Provision for interest fell 98.43% to Rs 0.23 crore. PBDT rose 169.31% to Rs 1017.7 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 86.80% to Rs 208.21 crore. Profit before tax grew 203.83% to Rs 809.49 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 202.13 crore, compared to Rs 69.42 crore. Effective tax rate was 24.58% compared to 26.29%.Minority interest increased 66.67% to Rs -0.01 crore. Net profit attributable to owners of the company increased 218.49% to Rs 620.14 crore. Promoters’ stake was 75.15% as of 30 June 2022 ,compared to 75.15% as of 30 June 2021 .
