Weak operating show
Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Kalyani Forge for the quarter ended Jun 2022 has increased 4.66% to Rs 58.63 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 8% to 4.54%, leading to 40.63% decline in operating profit to Rs 2.66 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 54.62% to 58.48%. Employee cost decreased from 14.76% to 14.04%. Other expenses rose from 22.91% to 23.20%. Other direct service cost fell from 19.68% to 18.97%. Other income up 640% to Rs 1.85 crore. PBIDT fell 4.65% to Rs 4.51 crore. Provision for interest up 1.39% to Rs 0.73 crore. PBDT fell 5.74% to Rs 3.78 crore. Provision for depreciation down 0.65% to Rs 3.08 crore. Profit before tax down 23.08% to Rs 0.70 crore. Provision for tax was credit of Rs 0.45 crore, compared to debit of Rs 0.11 crore. Effective tax rate was negative 64.29% compared to 12.09%. Profit after tax rose 43.75% to Rs 1.15 crore.
Promoters’ stake was 58.61% as of 30 June 2022 ,compared to 58.61% as of 30 June 2021 .
