Net up 22% largely on high sales
Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Ingersoll-Rand (India) for the quarter ended Jun 2022 has increased 40.67% to Rs 273.23 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 18.63% to 16.12%, leading to 21.75% rise in operating profit to Rs 44.05 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 59.21% to 56.63%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 2.02% to 6.44%. Employee cost decreased from 11.98% to 10.12%. Other expenses rose from 9.27% to 9.97%. Other income up 32.26% to Rs 3.69 crore. PBIDT rose 22.50% to Rs 47.74 crore. Provision for interest up 42.50% to Rs 0.57 crore. PBDT rose 22.30% to Rs 47.17 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 15.71% to Rs 3.83 crore. Profit before tax grew 22.92% to Rs 43.34 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 11.23 crore, compared to Rs 8.97 crore. Effective tax rate was 25.91% compared to 25.44%. Profit after tax rose 22.14% to Rs 32.11 crore.
Promoters’ stake was 75.00% as of 30 June 2022 ,compared to 75.00% as of 30 June 2021 .
