Finolex Cables has posted a net profit of Rs 21.50 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 5.14 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total Income (net of excise) stands at Rs 277.06 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 from Rs 172.23 crore for the same period last year.
