Standalone net sales of Honeywell Automation India for the quarter ended Dec 2021 has declined 1.63% to Rs 859.95 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 21.45% to 14.18%, leading to 34.99% decline in operating profit to Rs 121.93 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 43.43% to 47.61%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 9.29% to 9.08%. Employee cost increased from 14.74% to 16.46%. Other expenses rose from 11.09% to 12.56%. Other income fell 49.60% to Rs 14.34 crore. PBIDT fell 36.91% to Rs 136.27 crore. Provision for interest fell 18.18% to Rs 1.08 crore. PBDT fell 37.03% to Rs 135.19 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 7.26% to Rs 13.59 crore. Profit before tax down 39.80% to Rs 121.60 crore. Net sales (including other operating income) of Honeywell Automation India has declined 3.79% to Rs 2,280.34 crore.
Operating profit margin has declined from 19.40% to 15.17%, leading to 24.76% decline in operating profit to Rs 345.93 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 41.37% to 42.83%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 9.18% to 9.86%. Employee cost increased from 16.80% to 18.29%. Other expenses rose from 13.24% to 13.76%. Other income fell 5.20% to Rs 57.11 crore. PBIDT fell 22.49% to Rs 403.04 crore. Provision for interest fell 5.70% to Rs 4.3 crore. PBDT fell 22.64% to Rs 398.74 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 11.35% to Rs 39.73 crore. Profit before tax down 25.17% to Rs 359.01 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 92.55 crore, compared to Rs 123.74 crore. Effective tax rate was 25.78% compared to 25.79%.Profit after tax fell 25.16% to Rs 266.46 crore. Promoters’ stake was 75.00% as of 31 December 2021 ,compared to 75.00% as of 31 December 2020 .
