|
Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Kalyani Forge
for the quarter ended Jun 2021 has increased 215% to Rs 56.02 crore over a year
ago. Operating profit margin has jumped from 7.3% to 8%, leading to 245%
rise in operating profit to Rs 4.48 crore. Raw material cost as a %
of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 46.21% to 54.62%.
Employee cost decreased from 16.78% to 14.76%. Other
expenses fell from 28.87% to 22.91%. Other direct service cost fell
from 21.73% to 19.68%. Other income fell 26% to Rs 0.25 crore. PBIDT
rose 188% to Rs 4.73 crore. Provision for interest up 33% to Rs 0.72
crore. PBDT rose 265% to Rs 4.01 crore. Provision for
depreciation down 5% to Rs 3.1 crore. Profit before tax reported profit
of Rs 0.91 crore compared to loss of Rs 2.17 crore. Provision for
tax was debit of Rs 0.11 crore, compared to credit of Rs 0.49
crore. Effective tax rate was 12.09% compared to 22.58%. Profit
after tax reported profit of Rs 0.80 crore compared to loss of Rs 1.68
crore.
Promoters’ stake was 58.61% as of 30
June 2021, compared to 58.61% as of 30 June 2020. .
