Quarter ended June 2021 compared with Quarter ended June 2020.
Net sales (including other operating income) of Shree Cement has increased 46.17% to Rs 3634.83 crore.
Operating profit margin has jumped from 27.66% to 28.14%, leading to 48.71% rise in operating profit to Rs 1,022.96 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 7.12% to 6.94%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 0.16% to 1.27%. Employee cost decreased from 8.21% to 6.45%. Other expenses rose from 57.02% to 57.78%. Power and Oil fuel cost rose from 18.56% to 19.20%. Freight charges fell from 23.22% to 22.58%.
Other income rose 11.54% to Rs 141.11 crore. Provision for interest fell 23.89% to Rs 54.49 crore. Provision for depreciation fell 8.87% to Rs 273.52 crore.
Profit before tax grew 88.88% to Rs 836.06 crore. Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 205.17 crore, compared to Rs 112.3 crore. Effective tax rate was 24.54% compared to 25.37%.
Minority interest increased 32% to Rs 0.99 crore. Net profit attributable to owners of the company increased 91.11% to Rs 629.90 crore.
Promoters' stake was 62.55% as of 30 June 2021 ,compared to 62.55% as of 30 June 2020 .
