Tata Investment Corporation has posted a net profit of Rs 23.03 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 (Q4 FY 05-06) as compared to Rs 22.25 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income has increased to Rs 24.49 crore for Q4 FY 05-06 from Rs 24.86 crore in Q4 FY 04-05.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 163.14 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 (FY 05-06) as compared to Rs 112.38 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 (FY 04-05). Total Income has increased to Rs 170.88 crore for FY 05-06 from Rs 115.7 crore in FY 04-05.

The board of directors at its meeting held on June 07, 2006 has, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing AGM recommended a dividend of 120% for the year ended March 31, 2006, on the increased ordinary share capital (previous Year 120% on the pre bonus capital).
