For the quarter ended Dec 18, consolidated net sales were up by 17% to Rs 981.12 crore. OPM was up by 20 bps to 3.7% thus resulted in a 22% increase in OP to Rs 35.90 crore. Other income was up by 8% to Rs 1.55 crore. Interest cost was lower by 21% to Rs 0.87 crore and depreciation was higher by 7% to Rs 5.71 crore. Thus resulting in a PBT of Rs 30.87 crore up by 26% YoY. After providing total tax of Rs 11.53 crore up by 28%, PAT for Dec 18 quarter stood at Rs 19.34 crore. After providing MI of Rs 0.18 crore, consolidated PAT for Dec 18 quarter stood at Rs 19.16 crore up by 29% YoY.
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Pirojshaw Sarkari (Phil), CEO of Mahindra Logistics, said,
"Having completed one year since our listing, I am happy that we continued to generate value for all our stakeholders. In Q3 our non-Mahindra SCM business is back to delivering high growth. This segment recorded the highest-ever quarterly revenues. We have added new clients across the service offerings – transportation, warehousing, stores & linefeed and people transport solutions. We continue to have positive outlook towards the sector as we help customers redesign their supply chain for effectiveness and efficiency".
For the 9 months ended Dec 18, consolidated net sales stood at Rs 2836.66 crore which was up by 12% on YoY basis. OPM was higher by 60 bps to 3.9%, thus resulting in a 34% increase in OP to Rs 110.37 crore. Other income was higher by 13% to Rs 5.72 crore. Depreciation was higher by 10% to Rs 15.90 crore which resulted in a 40% increase in PBT to Rs 97.74 crore. Thus, after providing total tax of Rs 35 crore and MI of Rs 0.63 crore, consolidated PAT for 12 months ended Dec 18 stood at Rs 62.11 crore, up by 43% YoY.
