For the quarter ended March 2017, the consolidated sales excluding VDSPL grew by 7% at Rs 154.8 crore. The net profit level inclined by 7.5% to Rs 23.2 crore.

Caravan Talkies was non-operational in Q4FY17 due to adverse impact of demonetization in rural India. Losses have reduced owing to cost optimization initiatives undertaken. Operations have re-commenced in Q1FY18. Currently 47 vans are operational

Ad revenue growth for FY18 will be 30%.

UFO Moviez India has entered into a strategic tie up with United Media Works (UMW), a digital cinema technology and service provider having more than 300 digitized cinema screens on its network in India. Under this tie up, the Company has acquired long term exclusive rights from UMW to monetize the advertising inventory on these screens. In addition, the Company will share movie content to these screens in UFO M-4 format. However, existing commercial and service arrangement between UMW and its Channel Partners / Exhibitors /Distributors shall remain unchanged. Migration will complete by end of Q1 FY18 and revenue will kick in from Q2 FY18.

UMW Group Theaters – 20-25% margin in initial period. But as ad revenue grows, margin will grow. Migration will complete by end of qtr. Rev will kick in frm q2.

Ad revenue impacted in Q4 as caravan operation was zero.

Ad revenue – govt ad revenue for the year has grown. Demonetization impact has gone. FMCG, Media business and BSFI are coming back.

Ad rev growth – focus on volume led growth. 55% of govt. business is fix.

5-6% growth seeing in overall pricing in advertisement in last few years.

Per show – normally 15 to 20 min ad inventory.

Ad yield is same between govt and corporate on an average.

Nova cinema – working for stabilizing of the business, working with government for single window clearance, Have got more than 150 enquiry for Nova.

Nova – one is operation. Another will become operation in Karjat with Sachin movie.

Nova – by end year will start growth.

Nova - By H2 FY18, all the 5 projects will be ready.

Caravan – one van is now covering more village compared to earlier of 4 villages. Additional 20 vans will come in next 10-20 days. With monsoon, van operation will come to still.

Caravan – revenue per van has double compare revenue which was pre demonetization period.

By the end of this month 67 vans will be in operation. The company should be able to sale 90-92 van at any period of time. In Q3, after seeing traction will add van.

Caravan – have the advertisers which are interested in rural marketing like FMCG, mobile companies.

Caravan – capital employed is Rs 40 cr.

Once DAVP approval gets for caravan, then caravan ad rev will grow. Expecting in next few months to get govt approval.

UFO frame – out of 650 clusters, around of 400 DSA appointed and out of it 275 DAS are active. Once all get activated, ad volume will come in.

Capex for FY18 – Rs 50-75 crore. High capex because want to upgrade some old projectors.

Last year rate of interest in range of 10% plus and current year its in range of 9.2-9.4%.
