Key takeaways of the call
Consolidated Order Book as end of
Sep 30, 2023 stood at Rs 4566.9 crore as against Rs 4603 crore as end of Jun
30, 2023. Of the current order book
domestic order book is Rs 3739.4 crore and international is Rs 827.5 crore. Of the international order book about 73% is
Italy, 17% is Australia, 10% South Africa.
Project revenue growth for the
quarter was affected by supply chain challenges, however it is expected to
recover in the second half based on all round improvement
Product business seeing good
traction both domestically and internationally across market segments
International margins improved on
the back of growing aftermarket business at WPIL South Africa and Gruppo Aturia
Important breakthrough in the
defence sector with framework contract won for fixed onboard centrifugal pumps
from India. WPIL has received a contract for supply of on board range of
centrifugal pumps and spares for different classes of ships from Ministry of
Defense (Navy) for Rs 14.3 crore which
is to be executed over a period of 24 months. This contract for on board
centrifugal pumps will greatly strengthen WPIL product offering to the Indian
Navy which is undergoing a major fleet expansion program.
Rutschi divestment on course for
completion by the end of CY2023. The European Subsidiary Gruppo Aturia SPA has
entered into a share purchase Agreement for sale of its Rutschi Business for a
consideration of Euro 68.7 million.
