Key highlights

• The Company sales volumes grew 0.1% to 2.29 mt in Q1FY19, including 0.284 mt of clinker sales during the quarter. Sales of trade cement were 54%, non-trade 46% and the company expects to increase its trade to 56%.

• The Company capacity utilisation at its Udaipur plant was 90% in Q1FY19. RMC revenue for Q1FY19 was Rs 42 crore (in Q4 FY18 it was Rs 40 crore). The PPC:OPC mix during Q1FY19 was: 65:35.

• The Company fuel mix for the quarter was: 81% pet coke, 13% coal, 6% others.

• The Company expects Rs 100 crore maintenance capex p.a. in FY19/FY20. No major capex lined up over next 18 months except Thermal Power Project and Orissa GU at Eastern operations. At Orissa GU (0.6 mt) Company has incurred Rs 80 crore of the total planned capex of Rs 150 crore for the project. The Company Odisha GU and 20MW thermal plant expected to commission by Q4 FY19.

• The Company expects 7-8% volume growth in FY19.

• The Company Gross/ Net debt stood at Rs 2000/ Rs 1550 crore in Q1FY19; Paid Rs 50 crore debt in Q1FY19.
