During the month of March 2024, Cables sector’s Marketcap increased 89.2% to Rs 153684.28 crore, compared to 50.32% rise in total listed marketcap to Rs 38945362.38 crore.

Sector’s share of total listed marketcap moved to 0.39% in March 2024 from 0.31% in February 2023 and 0.24% in February 2022.


In terms of price appreciation in the sector, there were 7 gainers and 12 losers in the month of Mar 2024. The gainers accounted for 29.17% of sector companies, losers accounted for 50.00% of sector companies, while 5% remained unchanged.

The top 3 gainers were Diamond Power (45.49% gain), Polycab India (7.55% gain) and R R Kabel (6.73% gain).

The 3 losers at the bottom were SGN Telecoms (-44.79% fall), Ultracab India (-31.38% fall) and Aksh Optifibre (-23.94% fall).
