On a consolidated basis, Titan Company's net profit rose 11.06% to Rs 816.26 crore on 8.48% rise in total income to Rs 11984.16 crore in the year ended March 2015 over the year ended March 2014. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 7 May 2015.
Punjab National Bank saw volume of 15.82 lakh shares, a 3.08-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 5.14 lakh shares. The stock lost 6.15% at Rs 146.55. Punjab National Bank's net profit fell 61.98% to Rs 306.56 crore on 7.6% rise in total income to Rs 13455.65 crore in Q4 March 2015 over Q4 March 2014. The result was announced during market hours. The results would have been worse but for a hefty tax reversal. There was a tax reversal of Rs 938.06 crore in Q4 March 2015 as against tax expense of Rs 228.39 crore in Q4 March 2014.
