Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 243.87 points, or 1.32%, to 18,205.44.

The stock hit a high of Rs 49.70 and a low of Rs 47 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 46.60 on Tuesday, 1 February 2011. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 81 on 9 March 2010.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 3 February 2011, falling 16.95% compared with the Sensex's 10.27% decline. The scrip had also underperformed the market in past one quarter, sliding 25.79% as against 9.85% decline in the Sensex.

JK Lakshmi Cement's net profit tumbled 89.9% to Rs 4.60 crore on 10.7% decline in net sales to Rs 315.33 crore in Q3 December 2010 over Q3 December 2009.
