Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 129.82 points, or 0.40% at 19,812.40.
On BSE, 25,676 shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 12,394 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 396 and a low of Rs 387.10 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 424 on 11 August 2010 and a 52-week low of Rs 309 on 9 November 2009.
The mid-cap stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 22 September 2010, falling 1.71% compared with the Sensex's return of 8.37%. It had also underperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 1.03% as against 12.35% rise in the Sensex.

Reliance Mutual Fund acquired 7.37 lakh shares in Maharashtra Seamless at Rs 385 per share in a bulk deal on the BSE on Wednesday, 22 September 2010. Sundaram Bnp Paribas Mutual Fund was the seller in the transaction.
Maharashtra Seamless' net profit surged 54% to Rs 100.46 crore on 5.8% fall in net sales to Rs 397.99 crore in Q1 June 2010 over Q1 June 2009.
