Sesa Goa rose 0.04% to Rs 116.75 on a volume of 69.66 lakh shares on BSE. It was the third top traded counter on BSE.
Idea Cellular slipped 1.82% to Rs 78.05 on a volume of 63.47 lakh shares on BSE. It was the fourth top traded counter on BSE. The company has fixed 6 October 2008, as the closing date for its open offer for an additional 20% stake in Spice Communications. The offer opened on 17 September 2008.
Reliance Natural Resources (RNRL) declined 3.99% to Rs 75.85 on volume of 63.05 lakh on BSE and stood fifth in the list of top traded counters on BSE. The family memorandum of understanding between Anil Ambani and Mukesh Ambani based on which the Reliance empire was split continues to remain the main point of argument in the ongoing case between Reliance Industries (RIL) and RNRL over sharing of natural gas from the KG basin.
