The stock had bounced back in the run up to the results. From Rs 253.95 on 20 March 2007, it had surged to Rs 311.95 by 25 April 2007. It had slipped a bit to Rs 305.50 on Thursday (26 April).
Indo Tech Transformers reported a 159% surge in net profit in Q4 March 2007 at Rs 10.29 crore (Rs 3.97 crore). Net sales surged 80.1% to Rs 56.72 crore (Rs 31.48 crore).
Indo-Tech Transformers (ITT) manufactures distribution transformers and power transformers.
Its key customers of ITT include state electricity boards (SEBs), engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors, and the corporate sector. The company has also exported transformers to Nigeria, Srilanka, UK, US, Ghana, and Canada.
