Revenue from operations rose 11.81% year on year (YoY) to Rs 1,835.34 crore in the quarter ended 31 December 2023.

Consolidated profit before tax stood at Rs 146.33 crore in December 2023 quarter, down by 21.2% YoY.

Total expenses in Q3 FY24 were at Rs 1,702.78 crore, registering a growth of 16.31% YoY. Cost of raw materials consumed came in at Rs 958.88 crore (up 8.7% YoY) while finance costs stood at Rs 40.24 crore (up 116.11% YoY) during the quarter.

The firm’s revenue from yarn business stood at Rs 882.56 crore (up 24.77% YoY) and revenue from bedsheets business was at Rs 356.40 crore (up 46.53%).

While revenue from towel segment was at Rs 693.25 crore (down 9.38% YoY) and revenue from paper and chemicals business stood at Rs 308.91 crore (down 8.94%) during the period under review.
