Total income stood at Rs 1,663.93 crore in Q3 FY24, registering a growth of 21.29% from Rs 1,371.84 crore recorded in the same period a year ago.
Profit before tax jumped 56% year on year (YoY) to Rs 201.09 crore during the quarter under review.
Total expenses jumped 17.22% YoY to Rs 1,462.84 crore during the quarter. Cost of materials consumed was at Rs 1,202.14 crore (up 13.08% YoY), employee benefits expense was Rs 60.96 (up 27.61% YoY) and finance costs stood at Rs 32.37 crore (up 116.09% YoY) in Q3 FY24.
The company's revenue from carbon black segment was at Rs 1,614.96 crore (up 21.3% YoY) while revenue from power segment came in at Rs 65.59 crore (up 32.26% YoY).
Meanwhile, the company’s board has declared an interim dividend Rs 5.50 per equity share for the financial year ending 31 March 2024 and fixed Monday, 29 January 2024 as the record date for the same.
