DCM Shriram currently has significant Chlor Alkali facilities in Bharuch, Gujarat and aims at increasing the existing capacities while adding new products to its ChlorAlkali portfolio.
The current business portfolio of the company spans across multiple sectors including chlor-vinyl business (caustic soda, chlorine, aluminium chloride, calcium carbide, PVC resins, PVC compounds, power and cement), agrirural business (urea, sugar, ethanol, farm solution business covering entire range of inputs, R&D based hybrid seeds.) and value added business , fenesta building systems which makes UPVC and aluminium windows & doors.
DCM Shriram is a diversified company with presence agri-rural business, chloro-vinyl business and value-added business (fenesta building systems-UPVC windows & doors).
The company reported consolidated net profit dropped by 74.84% to Rs 32.24 crore in Q2 FY24 as against Rs 128.12 crore reported in Q2 FY23. Total revenue from operations fell 1.74% to Rs 2,825.37 crore in Q2 FY24 from Rs 2,875.38 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year.
The scrip hit 52-week high at Rs 1,175 in today’s intraday session.
